Ironwood Pick Box

Desert Ironwood pick box. The box is  2” x 1  1/4”. Room for picks, jewelry, tuner batteries, and armrest tools. The lid pivots on a brass pin and held closed by two magnets.  Desert Ironwood (Palo Fierro in Spanish) only grows in the Sonoran Desert in Southwestern Arizona and the Northwestern part of Mexico.? It is one of the hardest and densest woods in the world. It ranges massively in color and can have some stunning figures as a result. It is so dense it will not float.  Very hard to work but polishes well.
