Malagasy ebony pick box w/flower pot  inlay.

One of a kind! The box is 2″ x 1 1/4″ and is inlaid with gold & white mother of pearl & abalone. The inside is lined with Birdseye maple. The lid pivots on a brass pin and held closed by two magnets. Perfect for tuner batteries, armrest tools, jewelry, and picks of course.  Hand made and inlaid.

Malagasy Ebony. It is unsurpassed for its beauty and blackness. It is fairly fine-textured and takes a high polish. Finest ebony in the world. Rare.
