New for 2024, The McClung XL Plus armrest
Like our regular and XL mandolin armrests, it has the same patented upward angle. Also like the McClung XL armrest, it’s about 17% larger than our regular sized McClung armrest. Same function, just more to love.
The XL Plus is slightly larger, 4 5/8″ – 5″ long. the back edge is a bit more rounded and extends about 3/16” off the back edge of the mandolin. The top screw posts are underneath the armrest. Currently available in hardwoods and ebony. Our maple XL Plus is in production.
These are handmade as all our products, no CNC. The XL Plus is more costly to produce. It is more labor tasking and requires larger wood stock.

Love it. Knew it as soon as I put it on. Confirmed today when our band was recording and it felt perfect. Definitely a game changer.FWIW, I do have a Dr. Arm on my F style and this is even more comfortable.Thanks for doing these.– Eric
