A few issues in the fit/finish and a couple of
repaired cracks in the top. Plays and sound nice.

Nice Old German Fiddle
Over 100 year old 7/8 German fiddle. Nicely flamed, new
tuner pegs, fingerboard, bridge, tailpiece w/ fine tuners,
and D'Addario Helicore strings. A couple of shallow
repaired cracks in the top, above the bass F hole and
under the treble F hole. I was able to catch these before
they went all the way through. Various chips and
scratches that you would expect on an instrument of this
age. The label on the inside says it was re-varnished
and re-graduated by C. Clint Post in 1895. Comes with a
Glasser fiberglass bow and soft case.
Body length 13 3/4", upper bout 6 1/4", lower bout 7
3/4", scale 13". $495 plus SH
